Into the Tesseract Racial Supplement: Ba'Ree takes a look at an interesting race from the worlds withing the Delve
We often think of understanding something as pinning it down—defining it clearly, categorizing it, knowing what it is. But maybe the deepest understanding comes from recognizing what something does or how it moves through the world. A river isn't really the water in it at any given moment; it's the pattern, the process, the relationship between landscape and flow. This applies to people too. We're not fixed things to be fully known, but ongoing patterns—always in conversation with our circumstances, our histories, the people around us. Maybe intimacy isn't about achieving complete knowledge of someone, but about learning to recognize and appreciate their particular way of moving through time.
